2. Fresher is healthier and more nutrient rich. If your food is grown thousands of miles away and takes days/weeks to arrive at your local grocer the amount of nutrients has been drastically reduced.
3. Reduces harmful pesticide chemicals and GMO crops that are implemented/grown on large scale corporate farms by supporting local organic/natural farms it results in better overall health of our ecosystem.
